Former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh has come under fire for his recent comments that were deemed to spread hate towards Pakistani cricket fans. The comments were made in response to a cricket fan’s tweet that expressed a desire to see Pakistani players participate in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Cricket has no borders, but Harbhajan does!

Harbhajan Singh’s response to a Pakistani cricket fan’s tweet, “No Indian has such dreams.. you guys, please stop dreaming. Wake up now,” was met with widespread criticism from fans and fellow cricketers alike. Many pointed out that his comments only served to further the divide between the two neighboring countries and were in poor taste.

Several fans expressed their disappointment with Harbhajan’s comments, stating that cricket should be a unifying force that brings people together, regardless of their nationality or political affiliations.

The Indian Premier League has seen several Pakistani cricketers participate in previous editions, including Shahid Afridi, Shoaib Malik, Umar Gul, Sohail Tanvir and Mohammad Asif. However, due to political tensions between India and Pakistan, there have been limited opportunities for Pakistani players to participate in recent years.
