In a recent interaction with the local media, Shah Mahmood Qureshi made a bold statement saying that he will lead Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) if Chairman Imran Khan gets arrested. He also added that he is confident that Imran Khan will be able to handle any legal challenges that may arise.
Responding to the questions thrown his way by the media representatives, Qureshi said, “We have always respected the judiciary and will continue to do so in the future. I will take responsibility for the party in case our party chairman Imran Khan is arrested”.

Further, he slammed the Punjab police for torturing Ali Bilal to death, a PTI worker who lost his life during the election rally.
However, Shah Mahmood Qureshi’s bold statement has sparked speculation about the future of the PTI party and its leadership, as well as the possible implications of Khan’s potential arrest.
