ICC Approves Pakistan’s Proposed Schedule For Champions Trophy 2025

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has greenlit the Champions Trophy 2025 schedule proposed by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

The PCB’s plan features Lahore’s Qaddafi Stadium hosting all of India’s matches, including group stage encounters, the semifinal, and the final. The ICC approved the schedule without amendments.

The tournament will feature Australia, England, South Africa, Bangladesh, New Zealand, and Afghanistan alongside Pakistan. India has yet to confirm their official participation.

The Champions Trophy is scheduled to be held from February 19th to March 9th, 2025, across three Pakistani cities: Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi.

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi recently visited Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium to assess the ongoing construction work in preparation for the tournament. He emphasized the importance of completing the project swiftly, potentially requiring round-the-clock work by construction crews.
