Indian cricketer Ravindra Jadeja has officially joined Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), following in the political footsteps of his wife, Rivaba Jadeja. Rivaba, a BJP Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Jamnagar, shared the news on X (formerly Twitter), along with photos of their new BJP membership cards.

This announcement is part of BJP’s ‘Sadasyata Abhiyan’ membership drive, which began on September 2, starting with the renewal of Modi’s own membership. Rivaba, who joined the BJP in 2019, won her seat in the 2022 elections, defeating her opponent by over 50,000 votes.
