India’s foreign exchange reserves have reached a historic high of $683.987 billion, following a significant increase of $7.02 billion in just one week. This milestone marks a new chapter in India’s financial journey, driven largely by a surge in foreign currency assets, now standing at $597.55 billion.

Gold reserves also saw a notable rise, increasing by $893 million to total $60.99 billion. Alongside this, Special Drawing Rights (SDRs) and India’s position with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) have added further stability to the nation’s reserves.
