Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has awarded Amir Ali Hajizadeh, commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) aerospace division, with the prestigious “Fath” medal. The award comes in recognition of the IRGC’s missile attack on Isr@el last week.

The ceremony took place in the presence of Iran’s top military leaders, with Khamenei personally presenting the honor. The “Fath” medal, one of the highest military distinctions in Iran, was first introduced during the Iran-Iraq War in the 1980s and has since been awarded to a select few for outstanding military achievements.

This recognition highlights the ongoing tensions in the region and Iran’s continued military activities. Hajizadeh’s division of the IRGC has been instrumental in the country’s missile programs, contributing significantly to Iran’s military capabilities.
