In a tense turn of events, earlier today, Islamabad police are currently in Lahore surrounding Imran Khan’s Zaman Park residence. The situation escalated quickly, with clashes breaking out between supporters of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party and the police.
Reportedly, several people have been injured in the clashes, which saw tear gas and rubber bullets used to disperse the crowd.

The police claim that there are outstanding warrants for Khan’s arrest, but the PTI party has rejected these claims, calling the move a political vendetta.
