A viral video of an Israeli soldier dressed as a dinosaur firing rockets into Gaza has sparked outrage on social media. The circulating clip has since been watched by thousands and has initiated a wave of widespread criticism on social media. Media reports reveal that the video was first posted on a Telegram channel that was followed by more than 10,000 people.

According to the gathered information, viewers were encouraged to share such posts widely on Telegram in an attempt to “raise morale.” The channel published more than 700 photos and video clips showing blatant violations against Palestinians and the destruction of civilian areas and buildings. Moreover, the channel also promises its viewers to share more “funny” or “worth the wait” material.
The footage has not only stirred substantial debate and criticism for its insensitive depiction amidst the ongoing conflict but has also drawn attention to the supportive stance of some Western countries towards such behaviors.
