Former Cricketer Muhammad Hafeez’s Lahore Residence Robbed, Local & Foreign Currency Stolen

Former Pakistani cricketer Muhammad Hafeez’s residence in Lahore, Pakistan was burgled, with the robbers making off with a significant sum of money.

The incident highlights the growing problem of burglaries and thefts in the city. The robbers broke into Hafeez’s house in the middle of the night last weekend and made off with the cash and other valuables before the police were alerted.

From dollars to rupees, the robbers took it all

Hafeez, who is currently playing for the Quetta Gladiators in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 8, was not present at his residence when the burglary occurred while his wife was also in Islamabad. A complaint was registered by the wife’s uncle at Defence Police Station.

As per the First Information Report (FIR), the robbers made off with $20,000, £4,000, €3,000, AED5,000 and millions of PKR. The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of home security and the need to take precautions to protect one’s belongings.
