‘Conflict Of Interest’ – PCB Chairman Najam Sethi Asks Son Ali Sethi To Not Be A Part Of PSL 8 Anthem

After taking charge of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman, Najam Sethi has made several changes in the management and also in the team for maximum results. However, his recent decision regarding the upcoming Pakistan Super League season 8 has stirred a debate online.

Ali Sethi and PSL 8 anthem part ways

According to the official media reports, the recently appointed PCB Chairman Najam Sethi has requested his son Ali Sethi who is a well-known name in Pakistan’s music industry to pull out of the PSL 8 anthem to avoid any conflict of interest or controversy.

Ali Sethi has given Pakistan various hit tracks like Coke Studio’s Pasoori and Tinak Dhin and was likely to be considered for the anthem of PSL 8. While the tournament is just a month away, PCB is yet to announce the final schedule and venue and cricket fans are anxiously waiting.

Previously, Multan was chosen to host the opening match but later it was announced that the opening ceremony for PSL 8 will take place at The National Stadium in Karachi.
