Some political analysts are questioning the timing of the trip. Others suggest that Nawaz Sharif may be planning to flee the country again, as he did during his term as the Prime Minister.

On the other hand, supporters of Nawaz Sharif are saying that this is a purely spiritual journey, and he deserves the right to perform Umrah during Ramadan like any other Muslim. They also point out that Nawaz Sharif has been struggling with health issues for quite some time and needs to undergo a medical examination in London.

Adding to the intrigue, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz may also join the entourage for the pilgrimage. Some are speculating that Maryam Nawaz may be allegedly preparing to take over the party’s leadership if her father cannot return to Pakistan.
