Confusion and frustration reigned at the Parliament House Mosque on Friday after worshippers, including journalists, discovered their shoes missing after Jumma prayers. Reports claim at least twenty pairs of footwear vanished into thin air.

Eyewitnesses reported leaving their shoes in the designated area and returning to find them gone. Mosque security, which should have been safeguarding the footwear, was absent during the incident.

Authorities are now combing through CCTV footage to identify the light-fingered culprit who relieved the shoeless congregation.

National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq took a firm stance, demanding a full investigation into the security lapse. The probe, led by the Joint Secretary for Admin and the Sergeant at Arms, aims to unravel the how and why of this bizarre theft and ensure such a puzzling situation never plagues the mosque again.
