Pakistan’s blind cricket team etched their name in history by winning their maiden Blind T20 World Cup title, defeating Bangladesh by 10 wickets in the final held in Multan. Bangladesh batted first, managing 140 runs for the loss of seven wickets. Pakistan, asserting their dominance, chased the target effortlessly without losing a single wicket.

Nisar Ali led the charge with an explosive half-century off just 22 balls, ensuring Pakistan’s emphatic victory. This win also marked Pakistan’s undefeated streak throughout the tournament, which was hosted in Lahore and Multan.

The tournament, however, faced a notable absence as India’s blind cricket team did not participate. Despite receiving a No-Objection Certificate (NOC) from India’s Sports Ministry, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) did not grant travel permission to Pakistan.
