Model and host Iffat Omar expressed admiration for Imran Khan’s cricketing legacy, describing him as the “biggest star” Pakistan has ever produced. In a recent episode of her YouTube show, where she hosted actor Emmad Irfani, Omar reflected on Khan’s unparalleled charisma during his cricketing days.
Though a vocal critic of Imran Khan’s political career, Omar fondly recalled the excitement he brought to the cricket field. “Politics aside, the aura Imran Khan had, the way he used to run onto the field—it gave us goosebumps,” she remarked.
Emmad Irfani, a lifelong cricket enthusiast, shared his own admiration for Khan and noted that cricket was a passion shared within his family. He compared Imran Khan’s stardom in the 1980s and 1990s to that of David Beckham in English football.
