The latest report by CEOWORLD magazine has unearthed a staggering wage gap on a global scale, with Pakistan emerging at the bottom with the world’s lowest average salary.

According to the report comparing gross average monthly wages across countries using current exchange rates, Pakistanis earn an average of $132 USD (PKR 36,736) per month. This starkly contrasts the top-paying countries, where workers see significantly higher average salaries.

Switzerland boasts the highest average salary globally at $8,111 USD, followed by Luxembourg ($6,633 USD), the United States ($6,455 USD), and Iceland ($6,441 USD). Notably, the gap between the highest and lowest average salaries is substantial, exceeding $7,979 USD.
