PM Shehbaz Sharif Meets 5-Year-Old Guinness World Record Holder Sufiyan Mehsood

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif recently met with five-year-old Sufiyan Mehsood from Dera Ismail Khan, who set a Guinness World Record. The meeting took place at the PM House on Saturday, where the PM commended Sufiyan for making Pakistan proud at such a young age.

Sufiyan achieved the record for the fastest time to climb around a person, completing the feat in just 7.87 seconds on June 19, 2024. His father, Irfan Mehsood, also a Guinness World Record holder with over 100 records, accompanied him and runs a martial arts training academy in Dera Ismail Khan.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the importance of providing opportunities for youth to engage in sports and other positive activities. He also directed Chairman PM Youth Program Rana Mashhood and other relevant authorities to enhance sports facilities across the country.

The Prime Minister, speaking with Sufiyan in Pashto, praised the young boy’s ambition to become a scientist and highlighted that talents like Sufiyan are the nation’s pride. He also instructed the PM Youth Program to collaborate with Irfan Mehsood’s academy to promote sports nationwide.
