In a surprising turn of events, Wasim Qadir, the independent candidate backed by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) announced his decision to join the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N).
Qadir, who was recently elected as a Member of the National Assembly constituency (NA-121 Lahore-V), met with the senior vice president of PML-N, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, in Lahore to discuss his decision.
