PTI Chief Imran Khan Fears That Journalist Imran Riaz Khan May No Longer Be Alive

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has expressed grave concerns regarding the safety and well-being of journalist and anchor person Imran Riaz Khan.

During a press conference, Khan voiced his fear, stating, “I am afraid that Imran Riaz has been subjected to severe torture, and there is a possibility that he may no longer be alive.”

Imran Khan criticized the repeated failure to produce Imran Riaz before the court, describing it as a form of torture. He emphasized that if Imran Riaz is alive, he is unable to present himself before the court due to undisclosed reasons.

Imran Khan appealed to the journalist community, specifically referencing the lack of a significant reaction to Arshad Sharif’s incident. He cautioned that if journalists fail to take a stand in such cases, they too may face similar repercussions in the future.

Khan urged those journalists who once criticized his administration’s strictness to compare it with the present situation. He highlighted that during his tenure, immediate action was taken in response to any incidents, emphasizing the importance of accountability.
