PTI supporters have gathered at Islamabad’s D-Chowk, escalating their protests with calls for justice and political reform. The demonstrations, marked by tear gas shelling and clashes with security forces, reflect rising tensions between the opposition and the government.

The party’s demands center on three key points. First, PTI is calling for the release of its founder, Imran Khan, who is serving a three-year jail term on corruption charges. PTI claims his detention is politically motivated and aimed at silencing opposition voices.

Second, the party wants the reversal of the 26th Amendment, which they argue limits judicial independence. According to PTI, this Amendment has undermined the judiciary’s ability to hold the government accountable, creating what they call a “dictatorial regime.”

Finally, PTI is demanding the restoration of its electoral mandate. The party alleges election manipulation and claims its rightful victory was denied. PTI insists that respecting the democratic will of the people is essential for restoring trust in the political process.
