The UAE passport has once again been recognized as the most powerful globally, topping the 2024 Passport Index for the fourth consecutive year. This distinction highlights the UAE’s continued diplomatic success and growing influence on the global stage.

With a mobility score of 180, UAE passport holders enjoy visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 181 countries, including 130 destinations requiring no prior visa and 50 offering visas on arrival.

European countries dominated the top five rankings, with Spain, Finland, France, and Germany following the UAE. Meanwhile, the UK passport saw a notable drop from 22nd to 32nd place, retaining visa-free access to 118 nations but falling behind in global rankings.

Other countries in the top 30 included Belgium, Italy, Denmark, and South Korea. Japan, once a leading contender, now ranks lower in the top tier.
