Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, the legendary singer, has denied reports of his arrest at Dubai airport. He clarified that he underwent routine checking and questioning at the airport by posting a video on his social media platforms. He stated that he is currently busy recording songs in Dubai.
Khan clarified that applications were submitted to the Dubai police for questioning, and added that this is a procedure that anyone can initiate. Music director Farooq Rao also confirmed that Khan is recording his songs in Dubai.
Earlier, reports had surfaced claiming that the singer was arrested at the Dubai airport due to complaints filed by his former manager, Salman Ahmed. These reports suggested that Khan was being held at the Burj Dubai police station.
Khan has been in the United Arab Emirates for several days, performing at various musical shows. The singer and his manager developed differences a few months ago, which led to Ahmed’s dismissal. Following their conflict, Salman Ahmed filed cases against Rahat Fateh Ali Khan in Dubai.
