Your face will be your passport: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is set to roll out facial recognition technology for travelers in 2023, as part of its efforts to enhance security measures at airports and immigration points. The move comes as the UAE seeks to increase its capacity to process passengers in a faster and more efficient way, while at the same time ensuring the highest levels of security.

How will facial recognition technology help?

The facial recognition system, which will be deployed across all airports and immigration points in the country, will allow for the swift and accurate identification of passengers as they move through the different stages of their journey.
