In a surprising turn of events, Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik announced his third marriage with actress Sana Javed earlier today. The 41-year-old cricketer shared a beautiful photo on Instagram with the caption, “And we created you in pairs.”
What caused the split?
As per sources, there have been persistent rumors that Shoaib and Sania’s conflicts since 2022 caused them to split up eventually. Moreover, in the past few years, the former couple was hardly seen together on several occasions. Malik had also unfollowed Mirza on Instagram a few days back which became the talk of the town.

Before the recent announcement, there had been whispers about a romantic link between Shoaib Malik and Sana Javed but none were confirmed. Well, these suspicions gained momentum last year when Malik extended birthday wishes to Sana Javed on social media.
Speaking on the shocking revelation, Imran Mirza, father of Mailk’s ex-wife Sania cleared the air that it was a ‘khula’ which refers to the right of a Muslim woman to divorce her husband unilaterally.
Looking over the timeline of Malik’s marriages, the cricketer’s first marriage was with Ayesha Siddiqui which ended in 2010, after which he tied the knot with Sania Mirza in the same year. The couple had married in Hyderabad, India and were living in Dubai initially.
