A 29-year-old Ukrainian woman, Daria Kotsarenko, passed away just hours after embracing Islam in Dubai. Hundreds of Emiratis and expatriates gathered at the Al Qusais cemetery mosque for her funeral prayers, marking a moment of unity and solidarity.
Daria had recently arrived in Dubai as a tourist, seeking job opportunities, when she discovered a profound connection with the teachings of Islam. She embraced the faith on March 25 but tragically passed away the following day, reportedly due to a heart attack while fasting during Ramadan.

With no family or relatives in Dubai, the community rallied together to honor her at the janaza prayer, showing love and support in her final moments.
