Florida-based cruise line Villa Vie Residences has introduced its Tour La Vie program, offering Americans a unique way to travel the world for up to four years, following President-elect Donald Trump’s re-election. Designed as an escape from political tensions, the cruise departs aboard the Villa Vie Odyssey and visits over 140 countries across all seven continents.
The program features four flexible options: the one-year “Escape from Reality” cruise, the two-year “Mid-Term Selection,” the three-year “Everywhere but Home,” and the full four-year “Skip Forward” package. Prices start at $256,000 for single occupancy, which includes food, drinks, WiFi, medical services, and weekly housekeeping.
Villa Vie CEO Mikael Petterson explained, “This is about providing an alternative for those seeking a change. Your villa becomes your home, and the ship is your community.”
Key highlights include a month-long Caribbean tour, an Antarctic sail-by, visits to 13 World Wonders, and an eight-day Amazon journey. Passengers can vote via mail-in ballots during U.S. midterm and presidential elections while aboard.
