In a startling turn of events, the tranquil morning of April 14th was shattered by the loud sound of gunfire outside the residence of Bollywood luminary Salman Khan in Mumbai. According to reports from the local police, two shadowy figures on a motorcycle unleashed a volley of shots into the air before vanishing into the city’s labyrinthine streets.
Salman Khan’s safety at risk?
The assailants fired four shots into the air with one stray bullet finding its mark, piercing the façade of Khan’s Bandra abode. Mumbai Police sources revealed that the weapon of choice — a 7.6-bore gun — hints at a connection to the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang, infamous for their brazen criminal exploits.
CCTV footage painstakingly collected by the authorities captures the fleeting image of the perpetrators, fueling the fervor of the investigation. Standing at an estimated height of 5 feet and 8 inches, these individuals remain at large, their identities shrouded in mystery.
The incident reignites fears stemming from previous threats directed at Salman Khan. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) identified him as a prime target on the hit list of incarcerated gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. The simmering vendetta traces back to Khan’s entanglement in a controversial black buck hunting case in 1998.
