Pakistan’s Kishmala Talat has been named Asia’s second-best female shooter in the women’s 10m air pistol category, as per the Asian Shooting Confederation’s latest rankings. Talat achieved a score of 1,350 points, placing her behind India’s Esha Singh, who topped the list with 1,500 points. In the 25m pistol category, Talat currently ranks 29th.
Talat expressed her gratitude for this achievement, saying, “Allah has blessed me abundantly. I am deeply humbled and grateful.” She is focused on further improving her performance in 2025 and is eager to represent Pakistan with pride on the international stage.
This year, Talat made history as the first Pakistani female shooter to qualify directly for the Paris Olympics. She is determined to continue advancing in her sport, crediting the support of her fans and mentors.

Other Pakistani shooters have also risen in the Asian rankings, with Ghulam Joseph placing 7th in the Men’s 10m Air Pistol and GM Bashir reaching 15th in the Men’s 25m Rapid Fire category.
