Gunfire erupted outside the Vancouver home of Punjabi singer and rapper AP Dhillon on Monday, raising alarms about his safety. Although local authorities have yet to confirm the incident, the Lawrence Bishnoi-Rohit Godara gang has claimed responsibility for the attack.

The gang, known for its criminal activities, issued a threatening message on social media, alleging that they were behind shootings at two locations in Canada on the night of September 1. Alongside the attack near Dhillon’s home in Victoria Island, another incident reportedly occurred in Woodbridge, Toronto. The gang’s message warned Dhillon to “stay within his limits” or face severe repercussions, citing previous tensions related to his association with Bollywood actor Salman Khan.

In response to the unsettling event, AP Dhillon updated his fans via social media, reassuring them of his safety. He posted, “I’m safe. My people are safe. Thank you to everyone who reached out. Your support means everything. Peace and love to all.” The incident follows previous threats against both Dhillon and Khan, with the gang’s history including attacks on Khan and the death of Punjabi rapper Sidhu Moosewala.
