Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, has urged for strict action against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), stating that the party should be treated like terrorists before it’s too late. The statement was made on X (formerly Twitter), where she reiterated her long-held views regarding PTI’s nature.

Maryam emphasized that PTI is not, and never was, a political party, but rather a group involved in activities that should be classified as terrorism. Her remarks come at a time of heightened political tensions in the country.

According to her, the world has now recognized what she had been warning about for years — that PTI poses a serious threat to Pakistan’s stability and security.

By labeling PTI as a “terrorist group,” Maryam is calling for immediate and decisive actions against its members. She expressed concern that delaying such measures could lead to further instability.

The reaction from PTI to these allegations is yet to be seen.
