Incarcerated Imran Khan Granted Permission To Communicate With His Sons Via Phone

In a recent development, a special court has granted former Prime Minister Imran Khan permission to communicate with his sons via phone. Currently in judicial custody until September 13 due to a cipher case, Khan has been confined to Attock prison since his arrest on August 05.

On Imran Khan’s request

Khan, also the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, pursued this request through his legal representatives, Umair Niazi and Shiraz Ahmed. He sought the court’s approval to engage in telephone or WhatsApp conversations with his sons, Qasim and Sulaiman Khan.

Expressing his desire to connect with his sons, Khan’s plea was accepted by the special court, allowing him to engage in the requested communication. This decision marks a significant step in enabling Khan to maintain contact with his family members during his time in custody.
