In latest news, Salwan Momika, the Iraqi man known for burning copies of the Quran in Sweden, was shot dead in Södertälje on Wednesday evening, according to media reports. His actions in 2023 had sparked widespread protests and a diplomatic crisis between Sweden and several Muslim-majority nations.

As per the details, Swedish authorities responded to a shooting at an apartment in Södertälje earlier ths week, where they found a man in his 40s with gunshot wounds. He was later confirmed dead, and a murder investigation is underway.

Multiple news sources identified the victim as 38-year-old Momika. Reports indicate that he may have been livestreaming at the time of the incident.
